Course Option 1: LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) Exam Preparation Course
This 2 week intensive course would offer our Young Gaiety and adult students the option to prepare for and sit a LAMDA examination during the summer time. The course would be open to students who have completed three terms at the Gaiety School of Acting.
Course Option 2: Irish Language & Drama Summer School
This course would offer students the opportunity to learn and practice the Irish language through the medium of drama - an excellent alternative for school students who do not wish to attend a gaeltacht. It would take place during summer time over a period of 2-3 weeks.
Course Option 3: Adult Introduction to Drama (WEXFORD & CASTLEBLAYNEY)
This 10 week course takes place one evening a week and offers participants a practical opportunity to explore the craft of acting in a more convenient location (Wexford Arts Centre and Iontas Castleblayney). The course is open to everyone and is also designed for those who wish to expand their general communication skills. Proposed commencement date - October 2007.
