May 2009: Summer 2009 at the GSA!
Get the first look at The Gaiety School of Acting Summer Programme 2009 now! It's going to be an exciting summer here at the GSA, with plenty of exciting and imaginative courses to help you while away those summer months!
To kick off the summer for our young students we'll be bringing back the acclaimed Tale Town, which debuted last year to huge success, for a full four weeks here in Temple Bar before travelling to the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan. Other courses for young people include Musical Theatre Workshops, Footloose Dance Workshops, Make a Movie (in English and ás Gaeilge!) and lots more. Youth Theatre students who are interested in pursuing a career in acting will benefit greatly from the opportunity to take our ‘Seriously Serious Masterclass' - designed to reflect two days in a professional acting environment.
For our adult students we'll be providing our ever popular Adult Summer Drama, Page to Stage and Acting for Camera courses, as well as some exciting new Weekend Workshops - Musical Theatre, Stage Combat and Voice.
Cork students are in for an extra special treat this summer - our team in Cork have developed a completely unique programme for both adults and young people including Camera Acting Skills, a Seriously Serious Masterclass for students interested in a career in acting, Adult Theatre Company and Studio courses.
