Summer Has Officially Started!

The GSA Summer Programme 2009 kicked off this week with young Tale Town students getting stuck into the mystery of the Thief of Happenchance Street, and our International students arriving in and beginning their intensive study of Irish Theatre.

GSA commissions 29th and 30th plays in 19 years!

The Gaiety School of Acting's commissioning of Lally Katz to write "When the Hunter Returns" and Lisa Tierney-Keogh to write "The Fire Room" are the 29th and 30th new works to come about in 19 years.

Rehearsals for graduation plays

The class of 2009 are getting ready to present their graduation plays in Project Arts Centre. The class are split into two casts of 10 and are working on 2 specially commissioned new plays - the 29th and 30th new plays to be commissioned by the GSA!
