Patrick Sutton

Director of the Gaiety School of Acting. Patrick's specialities on the course are Samuel Beckett and Sean O'Casey.

 

Martin Maguire

Martin is an established actor, director and playwright working in theatre in Ireland and the US. Martin's areas of speciality on the course are Synge and Friel.

 

Denis O'Brien

Denis has been providing our academic seminars on the international programmes for several years providing valuable historical and contextual background to the students of the plays they rehearse.

Mark Lambert

Mark frequently appears in the Abbey, Peacock and Gate theatres, as well as several performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Mark has also worked in several BBC, RTE and Channel 4 television shows.. His film credits include Veronica Guerin and also has several directing credits.

 

Grainne Humphreys

Grainne is the Artistic Director of the Dublin International Film Festival and has taught film seminars as part of the Irish Theatre Summer School.

 

Barry Monahan

Barry is currently preparing a PhD on Postcolonial Representations of Ireland: Stage to Screen at Trinity College, Dublin.

 

Pat Laffan

Pat was a member of the Abbey Theatre Company in the 1960's and 1970's, a role which saw him perform in a huge number of Abbey plays in Ireland, the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. He also has many film and television credits. Pat has also directed a number of productions in the Peacock and Gate theatres.
