There are generally 3 hours of acting classes/rehearsal sessions each day. There are also approximately 2 extra class times each week of 2 hours which are Voice and academic seminars. Voice classes will work on your projection and accents while the academic seminars will take you through the historical and cultural contexts of the plays you are working on.
We schedule cultural visits for the daytime each day and there will generally be 2 theatre visits each week. These will take you to a range of shows in Dublin's main theatres - the Abbey and Peacock (the national theatre), the Gate, as well Project Arts Centre, Smock Alley Theatre amongst others. The aim of this is for you to see the nature of the contemporary theatre scene in Dublin so there will be a range of shows. Other evenings are your own free time, and we also make suggestions to you as to what you might wish to do during this time.
