So you want to become an actor? The studio reflects full-time training and gives you a chance to explore if you really want to do this as a career. It also prepares you for auditions for international drama schools. You will study with likeminded young performers, some of which have considerable acting experience. Students have gone on to study in our fulltime programme, as well as DIT, UCC, and drama schools in London.  

Participants of Young Gaiety Studio can expect to learn:

• Increased confidence in your acting techniques
• Insight into the reality of the acting profession
• Awareness of ensemble techniques
• Ability to give and take feedback and work with your peers
• Preparation for professional drama school auditions
• Training on the highest level
