Youth Theatre Workshop (TB)

YOUTH THEATRE WORKSHOP

Wednesday or Saturday

This ten week course uses drama as a medium to reflect and respond to young people’s lives. Using improvisation, participants learn to explore and enhance their imaginations. The course is both enjoyable and challenging, enabling students to express themselves in a creative and constructive manner. There is a showcase at the end of each term that parents and friends are very welcome to attend. It is of benefit to come to these classes with some experience 

There will also be specialist skills e.g. dance, singing, creative writing and voice incorporated into the programme. After completion of one term in the Youth Theatre Workshop, students may audition to join our prestigious Youth Theatre Company. 

Participants of Youth Theatre Workshop can expect to:

• be encouraged to express themselves with clarity through both voice and movement.
• explore and challenge their ideas and those of others within a creative and friendly enviroment
• grow in confidence and exlore their creativity
• experience performing in front of friends and family
