Directing Workshop
This Masterclass with Paul Meade will explore the practical strategies on how you move both large and small groups of people on stage. Join us as we take three key scenes from three key plays and explore how best to work them so an audience is drawn in, inspired and challenged.
Participants of the Directing Masterclass can expect to:
- Gain an overall perspective on the nature of the director's role
- Learn about the rehearsal process
- Explore the use of space in theatre
- Gain experience of directing short scenes from classical and realist theatre
- Learn about communicating with actors and other theatre professionals
- Discuss approaches to text-based theatre
