Acting for Camera 1: Acting Skills

Acting for Camera – All Camera courses take place in our fully equipped studios

 This course is always a sell out as it does exactly what it says on the tin! Working with experienced and inspirational teachers you will learn the craft of acting for camera, concentrating on putting together the basic techniques required to deliver effective performances on screen.

 

Acting for Camera 1 – Acting Skills

This course provides participants who have already learned core acting techniques an opportunity to explore the similarities and differences between stage and screen acting. This course focuses on the development of physical, vocal and emotional techniques required by film.

Participants of Acting for Camera 1 can expect to learn:

  • To develop the ability to identify and deliver credible cinematic performances
  • To foster the nuances of physical, emotional and intellectual elements necessary for screen
  • To learn and practice the differences between stage and screen acting
  • To gain confidence in front of a camera & microphone

Days: Fri, Sat (Dublin) / Tues (Cork)
Cost: €310 (Dublin) / €200 (Cork)
